What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 37 initiatives (trainings, education schemes, websites, agreements, networks, job-fairs etc.) that activate workforce mobility in the cross border area;

- 416 participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint training;

- 42 participants in joint educational and training schemes to support youth employment; educational opportunities and higher and vocational education across borders;

Programme results: population that have access to joint employment initiatives – 6013.

Project status (reflected in progress reports)

The project is finalized; all the activities were implemented until 21.08.2019. The implementation had focused on addressing local population from the Vidin Dolj area through information and advertising, by disseminating data from the developed studies, through vocational counseling activities for the population, within the business incubator.

The followings outputs results have been achieved:

•        1 website promoting employment opportunities on both sides of the Danube, available at www.jobskills.ro

•        1 joint study in the cross border area Dolj Vidin to identify the key branched that activate economic employment available on the abovementioned website;

•        1 comparative study in the cross- border area Dolj-Vidin on social security, labor law, legal regulations, tax issues available on the abovementioned website;

•        10 thematic dissemination sessions provided for 300 participants, 5 DJ and 5 Vidin;

•        2 job fairs, 1 in Vidin and 1 in Isalnita;

•        416 persons participated within individual counselling;

•        40 group informative and counselling sessions;

•        20 job clubs;

•        52 training courses.

CREATWIN (ROBG-187)

Improving the workforce mobility and employment in cultural and creative industries from the RO-BG cross-border area

To improve the knowledge base on creative and cultural industries, as well as labour mobility barriers in the CBC area.

577,790.85 euro, out of which 491,112.80 ERDF

  • Web site acting as an interactive platform for providing conclusive information and promoting creative and cultural industries;
  • Educational caravans in universities from Craiova and Ruse to promote youth employment in creative and cultural industries;
  • Information and publicity materials (Paper bags, Trinkets, Ballpoint pens, Notepads A5, Caps, T-shirts, Umbrellas, Stick flash-memory 32 GB, promotion roll-up, presentation films, video clips and radio spots).

What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 4 initiatives (trainings, education schemes, websites, agreements, networks, job-fairs etc.) that activate workforce mobility in the cross border area: 11 trainingsessions; 11 job fairs; 6 visits for exchange of good practices; 1 website; 8 educational caravans;

- 558 participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint training;

- 200 participants in joint educational and training schemes to support youth employment, educational opportunities and higher and vocational education across borders.

Programme results: population that have access to joint employment initiatives – 22.758.

Project status (reflected in progress reports)

The project is finalized, the followings results were achieved:

- elaboration of the joint Study for identifying and evaluation the economic activities related to cultural and creative industries in the targeted RO-BG cross-border area.

- elaboration of the joint Study for identifying specific aspects of Romania and Bulgaria national legislation regarding social security, employment, taxes and financial issues.

- creation of 2 cross border creative centers - 130 people benefiting from the services offered

- organization of 11 trainings for Romanian and Bulgarian employees in creative and cultural industries attended by 241 people

- organization of 11 job fayrs - with 242 paricipants

- organization of 6 exchange experiences in Romania and Bulgaria- with 108 participants

- organization of 8 educational Caravan - 193 students have been granted access to the joint employment initiatives

TourDev Giurgiu-Ruse (ROBG-501)

The Joint Strategy for the Touristic Development of the Giurgiu-Ruse Area

What’s the goal?

The main objective of the project is to contribute to the touristic development of the Giurgiu-Ruse area by providing local stakeholders with a comprehensive strategy to enhance the visibility of the two counties as visiting destinations and by facilitating the formation of a network of interested actors that would provide their input to the development of the strategy.

How?

  • Documentation of cultural and natural heritage in the Giurgiu-Ruse area;
  • Sustaining and promoting tourism in the Giurgiu-Ruse area;
  • Realization of studies, research, information system, tourism development strategy;
  • Organization of stakeholder workshops;
  • Development, elaboration and dissemination of Joint Strategy.

Results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 1 integrated tourism product/service created;

- 1 common strategy, policy or management plan for valorizing (including raising awareness) the cultural and natural heritage through its restoration and promotion for sustainable economic uses;

Programme results: 500 tourist overnights in the CBC region.

Project status

The project implementation was finalized on 07.11.2019 and the following objectives have been achieved:

Two launching conferences of the project on behalf were organized.

The web site has been developed and its available at the link: www.tourdev.eu .

A final “Study for popularisation of landmarks and locations in the Giurgiu-Ruse region and for documentation for cultural and natural heritage in the Giurgiu-Ruse area” was completed from LB and B2 and is available in all three languages on the project web site: www.tourdev.eu/joint-study/ .

In addition, both beneficiaries organized and performed in total 6 workshops – 3 in Ruse and 3 in Giurgiu, dedicated on the development and content of the Joint Strategy for the Touristic development of the Giurgiu-Ruse area, attended from 255 stakeholders, The elaborated Joint Strategy and management plan for valorizing (including raising awareness) the cultural and natural heritage is uploaded and is available on the project web site: www. http://tourdev.eu/joint-strategy/ .

B2 elaborated 10 videos for promoting the natural heritage in area Giurgiu – Ruse available on the web site: www.tourdev.eu/videos/ .

Furthermore, promotional activities were carried out by the project partners, including elaboration one travel guidebook and one photo album.

Following the implementation of the project activities, 1 integrated tourism product was created, represented by the developed joint study, the project website and the printed travel guidebook and photo album.
