Your Health Matters! Modernization of the hospitals in Zimnicea and Svishtov

To improve the efficiency of health services and the collaboration between health care providers at the level of communities from Zimnicea and Svishtov.

How?

  • Organizing press 2 conferences (60 participants/conference) during the project implementation period (project launching conference – year 1 in Romania, 1 final conference during year 2 in Romania);
  • Organizing 2 local conferences in Bulgaria (30 participants/conference) during the project implementation period (project launching conference, 1 final conference during year 2);
  • Publicity materials (roll-up, flyer, outdoor banners, folders)
  • Modernization of the hospital in Zimnicea;
  • Modernization of the hospital in Svishtov;
  • Exchange of experience and best practices.

Results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 1 supported cross border mechanism to enhance cooperation capacity – development of the existing cooperation between the 2 beneficiaries through: strengthening theirs capacity to provide health care services and the exchange of experience between health care employees;

Programme results: increased level of co-ordination of the public institutions in the eligible area – the cooperation between the 2 beneficiaries will be strengthen through the project activities. The exchange of experience activity will focus on cross border healthcare cooperation for a better provision of healthcare, in terms of efficiency, adaptability with a comparable quality.

Project status

The project ended on 12.04.2019.

The Lead Beneficiary finalized the modernization of the Hospital in Zimnicea throughout endowment of the medical section of the hospital (equipment such as: General anaesthesia machine, Portable medical aspirator, Medical aspirator-vacuum, Medical couch, Wheelchair for sick people, Oxygen concentrator, Defibrillator, Medical cabinet for emergency device, Electrocardiograph, Injectomat, Scialitic lamp, Operating table, Vital signs monitor, Negatoscope, Oscillometer, Spirometer, Mobile stretcher, Mobile drug cabinet, Major basic surgery kit, Minor basic surgery kit, Hematology analyser, Auto kerato-refractometer, Digital bio microscope, Laboratory centrifuge, Colposcope, Electrocautery, Sterilization hot air oven, etc.

Two actions for exchange of experience and good practices have been realized during the project implementation in order to ensure the premises for strengthening the cross-border cooperation between the 2 beneficiaries in health care area and will focus on cross border healthcare cooperation for a better provision of healthcare, in terms of efficiency, adaptability with a comparable quality.

B2 has finalized the works for modernization of the hospital in Svishtov providing necessary framework for raising the services quality that are provided by the Svishtov hospital to local community. Also, B2 has purchased specific medical equipment for endowment of the modernized infrastructure, namely: one Computer tomography, and one Ambulance type C.

Innovative practices and services in education

What’s the goal?                                              

To increase the capacity of co-operation and effectiveness of educational institutions in the border region by improving the learning environment in order to improve the quality of education and preventing school dropout and retention of children in the classroom.

What’s the budget?

193,065.27 euro, out of which 164,105.48 ERDF

Who?

Where is it happening?

How?

  • Raising public awareness, promotion and information materials (T-shirts, hats, brochures, leaflets, souvenirs, plaques, diplomas);
  • Organizing press conferences at the beginning and end of the project;
  • Creation of an information system – web-site with virtual methodical center and library, school newspaper;
  • Development of a joint strategy „A school policy model that prevents dropping from school”;
  • Organizing seminars for teachers and parents, roundtables, open classes, methodological developments;
  • Creating a co-operative virtual library of school materials, materials from teachers and students’ works;
  • Conducting thematic training camps, exhibitions, competitions, joint concerts.

Results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 2 supported cross border mechanisms to enhance cooperation capacity - a developed common strategy guide with methodological activities and best practices for prevention of school drop outs; an information system -web-site with virtual methodical center and library, school newspaper;

Programme results: increased level of co-ordination of the public institutions in the eligible area

Project status

The project was finalized.

Results:

- The Common Strategy Guide with Methodological Activities and Best Practices for Prevention of School Dropouts available in EN, BG and RO languages, on the project website www.robg173.eu.

- The project website in EN, BG, RO with separate sections: "Virtual Methodic Center and Library" and "Online School Journal" - "Together in Europe" ,available at website www.robg173.eu.

- Two summer Children's Thematic Camps in Murfatlar and Constanta.

- Two workshops and two round tables for teachers, parents, experts and representatives of NGOs.

Cross-border Agency for Work Mobility

What is the goal?

To contribute to the integration of the CBC area in terms of employment and labour mobility

What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs: 7 types of initiatives that activate workforce mobility in the cross border area; 750 participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint training

Programme results: 15 000 people will have access to joint employment initiatives.

Project status

The project implementation period finalised on 19.04.2019;

The VISA Cross Border Agency for Work Mobility offices have been established, the staff have been trained and the offices can be found on the following addreess:

- 12-14 Voyvodova str., Ruse, Bulgaria;

- 36 Crisan str., Slatina, Olt county, Romania;

The agency offeres services for work mobility to both, employees and employers at its headquarter and also online.

Within the project there have been elaborated:

2. A Guide for Commuters;

The Lead Partner has acquired a Certificate by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training (NAVET)-Bulgaria for a Professional Training Centre licensed to train for 10 professions:

1. Sales Representative;

2. Coordinator in Business - Services;

3. Economics Specialist;

4. Organizer Internet Applications;

5. Hotel Specialist;

6. Restaurant Specialist;

7. Organizer for tourist agency activity;

8. Tour guide;

9. Animator in tourism;

10. Skipper / Sailing Master.

A Partnership Memorandum havs been signed leading to the establishment ofan Advisory Committee.

All of the pilot actions and consultations have been perforemed.

BG RO Mobility

What’s the goal?

To bring together jobseekers, local communities, private sector & authorities of BGROCB region to participate in joint development of cooperative area, using its resources & advantages in sustainable way in order to promote CBLM (CB labour mobility) integration.

What’s the budget?

354,959.43 euro, out of which 301,715.50 ERDF

  • Organizing 3 conferences – 1 in the beginning (during the first project month in Rousse) and 2 at the end (during the last project month - in Rousse and Caracal in order to present the results);
  • Elaboration of information and publicity materials (USB devices, note pads, cardboard folders, leaflets, roll-ups);
  • Conducting BLFS (business & labour facility service) in the CBR;
  • Developing analysis over the situation of the BG-RO CB labour market;
  • Conducting an awareness campaign (developing an electronic newsletter; elaborating a press release; developing a brochure; conducting 15 information sessions);
  • Organization of a target group job fair (TGJF);
  • Performing Training sessions: 7 training sessions in RO and 8 training sessions in BG;
  • Developing a Guide how to work cross-border in Romania and Bulgaria;
  • Developing information and advice for cross-border commuters and potential employers by creating and developing of web-site “BGRO Mobility”.

Results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs:

- 4 initiatives (trainings, education schemes, websites, agreements, networks, job-fairs etc.) that activate workforce mobility in the cross border area: awareness campaign; target group job fair; training sessions and the website;

- 1050 participants in joint local employment initiatives and joint training;

Programme results: population that have access to joint employment initiatives – 20000 people from the CBC region (reached through awareness campaign, Guide how to work CB in RO and BG, website).

Results:

- 1 Survey Report "Business and Labour Force Survey (BLFS)

- 1 Labour Market Status Analysis in the Bulgaria-Romania cross-border area, available on www.bgromobility.eu;

- 1 Awareness campaign (including the development of an electronic newsletter, dissemination of posters and brochures, conducting 15 Information sessions). The Awareness campaign informed Employment Agencies representatives, private sector and citizens about employment opportunities and workforce mobility in CB area;

- 1 target group job fair (TGJF) in Ruse in order to provide an easy way for communication between employers and jobseekers and thus activated work force mobility in the CB regions.

- 15 Training sessions(7 training sessions in RO and 8 training sessions in BG) with employers and employees with useful information concerning national taxes, social security conditions and legal procedures;

- 1 Guide “How to work cross-border in Romania and Bulgaria” whichwere disseminated through Labour bureau, Employment Agencies, municipalities from the CBC area;

CBC LABORLAB - Developing an integrated and inclusive labor market at cross-border level

To support the CBC integration of employment and labor mobility as a common “market” through creating CBC LABORLAB Model.

Project status

The project is finalized and the final report is submitted to MA.

-      A CBC LABORLAB Strategy for employment, labor and social integration of disadvantaged people,.,based on the data collected within the study elaborated for CBC structural analysis regarding future labor market evolutions was relalized.

-The Association “LABORLAB CLUSTER” was established and registered to the Calarasi Court in the Registry of Associations and Foundations.

- 4 job fairs organized at CBC level with more than 2400 participants (both job seekers and employers).

The 4 job fairs were organized by the 4 project partners, as follows:

-        LB: 22-25.03.2019 in Calarasi (618 persons

-        B2: 15-18.04.2019 in Drobeta Turnu Severin (628 persons)

-        B3: 09-12.04.2019 in Ruse(647 persons)

-        B4: 22-25.04.2019 in Vratsa (593 persons).

4 training programmes were organized by the 4 project partners, in the following fields: English language,   application of the principle of equality of chances in economic units, entrepreneurship and development of entrepreneurship skills and ITC.

1 web platform developed and it is available at the address https://www.laborlab.ro.

4 best practices events at CBC level organized and 8 awareness campaigns have been organized by the project beneficiaries.
