Two meetings will take place simultaneously on 2nd of March 2023:
• Călărași, Romania (10:00) – location to be confirmed;
• Vidin, Bulgaria (10:00) – location to be confirmed.

The goal is to discuss the operationalization of the EuroVelo 6 route, as part of identifying the regional and local network of cycling routes of the EuroVelo 6 Route in Romania and Bulgaria and describing the national route in Bulgaria.
The consultation activities aim to involve the stakeholders from the cross-border area in defining the routes related to EuroVelo 6. The detailed routes will be the basis for the development of the integrated territorial strategy.

The participation will be subject to confirmation from the organizers.

The consultation activities are organized by CIVITTA Strategy & Consulting, as part of the service contract for the „Elaboration of the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the Romania-Bulgaria Cross-border Area” concluded with the Cross-Border Cooperation Regional Office Călărași for the Romania-Bulgaria border (BRCT Călărași). The development of the Integrated Territorial Strategy for the Development of the Romania-Bulgaria Cross-border Area is financed from Policy Objective 5 - "A Europe closer to citizens", selected within the INTERREG VI-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme 2021-2027.
