Annual Conference of Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme

Joint Secretariat for Interreg V-A România-Bulgaria within Cross-Border Cooperation Regional Office Calarasi for the Romania-Bulgaria Border (CBC RO Calarasi) in partnership with Managing Authority and National Authority, organized in Balchik (Bulgaria) the Annual Conference of Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme on 16th of November 2017.

The conference started with the presentation of the most important achievements of Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme, focused on the 3 calls launched and the 82 projects in implementation. Furthermore, the representatives of 5 projects contracted within the Programme presented the first results achieved so far, as follows: project “Green School Education as a Promotion of Sustainable Use of Cultural and Natural Heritage and Resources” (e-MS code: ROBG-3), project “Danube - A River with lot of history” (e-MS code: ROBG-6), project “Valorisation of authentic culture for cross-border tourism” (e-MS code: ROBG-13), project “Balloon adventure - a new joint tourism product” (e-MS code: ROBG-14), project “E-bike net” (e-MS code: ROBG-1).
An exhibition of photos taken during the actions performed by the projects financed by Interreg V-A România-Bulgaria Programme and promotional materials of these projects, took place within the conference. The Folkloric Group from Balchik closed the conference by performing an artistic program that brought local traditions closer to the participants.
Friday, on the 17th of November 2017, the promoting events of Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria Programme continued with on the spot visit to the project "Advertising of Regional Cultural Heritage in 3D - ARCH 3D" (e-MS code: ROBG-15) implemented by Balchik Municipality, as the Lead Beneficiary in partnership with Mangalia Municipality.
