In addition, the LB has signed contract for "Elaboration of a Marketing strategy to promote the tourist product Archeology and culture” in November 2019 and the developed strategy was delivered to the LB in all three languages and is uploaded on the project website: www.tourism-dolnamitropolia-motatei.com/documents/.
The dissemination of the previously elaborated Common Management Plan for restoration and promotion for sustainable economic use of historic and cultural sites and the Marketing strategy to promote the tourist product Archeology and culture, continued through the project website and the website of the Municipality.
The technical design related to the LB investment objective “Conservation, partial restoration and socialization for Roman Ad Putea Road Station in Village of Riben, Municipality of Dolna Mitropolia”, was elaborated. The developed Technical Project for execution of conservation and restoration works in „Roman Ad Putea Road Station”, Object 1: "Conservation, partial restoration and socialization the Roman roadside station "Äd Putea"- stage and Object 2: "Ad Putea Information and Visitor Center and supporting tourist infrastructure" was delivered to LB in the middle of September 2019. The final technical project was accepted from Dolna Mitropolia Municipality without comments. A positive statement from the National Institute for Immovable Cultural Heritage regarding the technical project for Investment site 1 was obtained in the end of July 2020. Further on, the building permit was issued and the main procedure for works execution in Dolna Mitropolia is expected to be re-launched in very short terms.
Related to B3 investment objective “Construction works in Church of St. Nicholas Motatei village”, the official reception of the Technical Project for renovation and restoration works of the St. Nicholas church was made in October 2019. The building permit was obtained in January 2020. Subsequently, in relation to the construction works for the structure of the Church of St. Nicholas Motatei, an execution contract and a service contract for site supervision were signed. In the end of June 2020, the order for starting the works execution was issued. Since then, the construction works are ongoing, with a temporary suspension from the end of September 2020 until middle of February 2021, due to the fact, that during the execution of the works at the foundation of St. Nicholas Church in Motatei, the Directorate for Culture Dolj requested an archaeological diagnosis. Following the research carried out, it was found that those bricks are not of archaeological interest. The approximate technical progress of the works executed already is in proportion of 24%, currently the construction works are ongoing. The painting works and the installation of the scaffolding inside the church has already begun.
