On 28th and 29th of September 2021, the beautiful Danube city of Ruse, with its amazing architecture, also called Little Vienna, hosted two events for the promotion of Interreg V- A Romania - Bulgaria Programme.
On 28th of September 2021, at the hall "Europe", part of the building "Dohodno zdanie" , a visit on a site for promotion of project ROBG-130, "Development of River Danubefor better connectivity of the Euroregion Ruse-Giurgiu with Pan European transport corridor No 7” was organized. The project is implemented by Ruse Municipality, as Lead Beneficiary, in partnership with Territorial Administrative Unit – Giurgiu Municipality – as Beneficiary 2. The participants in the event had the opportunity to learn about the project and the results achieved as well as to visit the investment objective - the passenger terminal in Ruse.
Today, 29th of September 2021, at the "Europe" Hall in Ruse, the Annual Conference of the Interreg V- A Romania - Bulgaria Programme took place. Representatives of European Commission, of the management structures of the Programme, of projects beneficiaries as well as local press representatives took part at the event.
During the event information referring to Programme stage of implementation and on the next Interreg VIA RO-BG was presented to the public, as well as podcasts on the following successful projects: ROBG-499, ” Live, interactive and virtual environments for the museums of the lower Danube cross-border area between Romania and Bulgaria”; ROBG-425, “Well-developed transportation system in the Euroregion Ruse-Giurgiu for better connectivity with TEN-T network”; ROBG- 351, “Streamlining the joint response actions to emergency situations”; ROBG-128, “An Integrated Approach for Improving the Sustainable Use of Nikopol-Turnu Magurele Cross-border Cultural Heritage”.
In addition, a photo gallery, " Folk costumes – Identity and culture, ways to understand each other", an activity carried out by the Interreg V-A Romania – Bulgaria Programme for celebrating the European Cooperation Day 2021, was presented.
Both events were organised in a hybrid format, with physical presence and online partcipation and were live streamed on Facebook page of the programme.
