Project status

The project has encountered problems in the implementation of the activities which lead to delays for which an extension with 17 months of the project implementation period was necessary. The project partners are currently doing all the efforts to complete the project on time and most of the public procurement contracts were awarded.

In terms of main investments envisaged to be realized within the project, the status is as follows:

Lead Beneficiary: awarded the two contracts for the elaboration of the technical design and construction works, out of which one for the open air museum and the second one for the road to the Cliff Church. The elaboration of the technical designs for both investment objects is pending by the approval of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the geological surveys corresponding to the envisaged emplacements for the two investment objectives.

Beneficiary 2 awarded the public procurement contract for the elaboration of the technical design and works execution. Subsequently to the elaboration of the technical design, was performed the site organization in July 2018, while the construction works started since 01.10.2018. Due to bad weather conditions, it was decided to suspend the construction works starting with 17.12.2018. The construction works were resumed starting with 19.03.2019 and are ongoing (working time execution 20 months).
