“Entrepreneurship for Youth Labor Mobility” (E4YLM) eMS 169

What’s the goal?

The project aims to increase the youth employability and labor mobility in the cross-border (CB) area.

What’s the budget?

288,951.06 euro, out of which 245,608.40 euro ERDF

Target at the half of the implementation period: 34 998 euro for LB, 26 033 euro for B2, 21 350 euro for B3, 24 658 euro for B4, 21 008 euro for B5

Who is doing it?

Lead beneficiary (LB): Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Calarasi

Beneficiary (B2):  Secondary Vocational School of Economics, Administration and Services "Atanas Burov”

Beneficiary (B3): NGO ‘Paralel-Silistra’

Beneficiary (B4): Economic College Calarasi

Beneficiary (B5): Association Partners 2000

When is it happening?

Start date: 20.06.2017

End date: 19.12.2018

Duration: 18 months

Where is it happening?

Veliko Tarnovo, Pleven, Vidin, Vratsa, Ruse and Dobrich in Bulgaria  (+ Sofia).

Giurgiu, Mehedinţi, Calarasi, Constanta, Dolj in Romania (+Bucharest)

How is it going to happen?                      

  • 1 Joint Educational Scheme on ‘Entrepreneurship Education without Borders’ (JES on EEwB) developed
  • 1 network and agreement
  •  joint trainings and webinars of teachers and students
  • 1 joint educational competition Innovation Camp on Enterprise without Borders’
  •  language courses with joint linguistic practice
  • 1 joint fair on CB students’ companies
  • 1 joint campaign
  • easily accessible paper and on-line information tool
  • 1 joint LSM and  website

What will be the results (what’s the contribution to the Programme)?

Programme outputs: 10 initiatives that activate workforce mobility in the cross border area, 3500 young people participanting in joint educational and training schemes to support youth employment, educational opportunities and higher and vocational education across borders

Project status

The following activities were performed by the project beneficiaries:

-      B2 and B3 launched the process of developing the joint educational scheme on (EEwB) in the CBC area;

-      Two-day face –to-face trainings and webinars for B2 and B3 were held;

-      One-day joint webinars on the Green Entrepreneurship programme and one-day for joint follow-up sessions were held;

-      The project beneficiaries set up a Joint Monitoring and Evaluation group, the first meeting was held in October and the second on February 19th;

 -  B2 started the linguistic training of the BG students’, participating in the ‘Enterprises without Borders’.
